In 2019 and 2020 we started research on the recovery of the nineteenth-century prison of Cagliari, the Buoncammino prison. The building is now abandoned and must find new functions and resources for its recovery. Working with the students of the last year of their university career we have studied a hypothesis of reopening the prison to the context of the urban park that surrounds it at the same time designing a partial colonization of its spaces, which can be achieved in subsequent moments depending on the available resources.
